The most spectacular natural phenomenon of the autumn steppe is the crane migration, which reaches its peak at the beginning of November. At that time, more than a hundred thousand birds stay in the Hortobágy area. The areas managed by our Group, such as Igar-kettős and Jánosállás, are one of the most popular resting and feeding places for cranes on the western edge of Hortobágy. The crane is a protected species in Hungary, its conservation value is HUF 50,000.
